DAVID WALTER BANKS PHOTOGRAPHS THE COVER OF SOUTHLANDS MAGAZINE

With an impeccable eye for the natural world, David Walter Banks was chosen to photograph the cover of issue three of Southlands Magazine. The image was captured in Dead Lakes, Florida, where past prolonged flooding left a graveyard of cypress trees emerging eerily out of the water. David's ability to bring a sense of magic to an environmental scene is apparent when looking at the surreal cover image. David also contributed text about one of his new favorite places to the issue.
