KENDRICK BRINSON AND A TRIBUTE TO DOLLY

Two days after the death of Dolly Parton, Kendrick Brinson headed to Mary’s, a queer bar in Atlanta, on assignment for The New York Times to photograph a Dolly Parton drag show. With towering hair, sparkling rhinestones, and plenty of Dolly serenades, the evening brought together an extraordinary group of performers to celebrate and pay tribute to an icon.
