DAVID WALTER BANKS RETURNS TO THE OKEFENOKEE SWAMP TO PHOTOGRAPH TOUR GUIDE RICHARD RHODES

David Walter Banks was recently commissioned by Atlanta Magazine to photograph tour guide Richard Rhodes in the Okefenokee Swamp near Folkston, Georgia—one of David’s favorite corners of the world. The assignment became a joyful exploration of the landscape, spent riding through the swamp with Rhodes whose deep love of the place was matched only by
his delight in the birds, plants, and countless other creatures encountered along the way.
