DAVID WALTER BANKS SELECTED BY AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHY

Two images from Trembling Earth, David Walter Banks’ acclaimed project and book, have been selected for American Photography 42. Over the past three years, Banks has spent nearly 70 nights in the Okefenokee Swamp—more than 400,000 acres of protected wilderness spanning southern Georgia and northern Florida—building the body of work that defines the project and documents the environment with care and intention. 
These selections place David's work among this year’s most compelling photographic images.
