NORTHWEST GEORGIA WITH DAVID WALTER BANKS

On assignment for The New York Times, David Walter Banks visited Northwest Georgia. The work he made there is a clear reflection of his gift: the ability to find humanity, even when the atmosphere is tense or polarized. David approaches every subject with the same intention — to see them clearly, to give them space, and to photograph them with honesty and grace. In a moment when so many of us feel divided, this kind of work is a reminder that connection is still possible.
