Olivia Bee is an exquisite storyteller, both visually and conceptually. For a recent bridal campaign for Van Cleef & Arpels, Olivia traveled to Normandy, where the images were captured during an intense and unpredictable storm. “I wanted the photographs to feel as though the camera itself was the lover,” Olivia shared, “as if the model and the unseen lover were on their honeymoon. That made the camera a character of its own, with a backstory that helped the images feel both real and magical at the same time.” When the shoot wrapped, the wind surged so violently it nearly swept the entire crew away
—adding one final, unforgettable moment to the day.
