Sandro is a true citizen of the world. His travels have taken him to every corner of the globe—seeking inspiration, exhibiting his photography, capturing stories on assignment, and receiving international recognition for his work. When he returns from these remarkable journeys, he brings back more than just stunning visuals—he brings back windows into lives, cultures, and moments we might never otherwise see. On a recent trip to India, Sandro photographed an extraordinary cast of characters: the former state champion wrestler of Varanasi, an Aghori baba, and a guru from Darbhanga Ghat casually sipping from a ‘NICEcafe’ paper cup. Through Sandro's lens, the ordinary becomes transcendent, and the unfamiliar becomes intimate.
