CHINATOWN NYC AND ALBERTO OVIEDO

Alberto Oviedo recently shared a new body of work with us, and as his agents, we make it a priority to stay closely connected to everything he creates. Among the latest work is a striking 20-second motion piece featuring a woman named Rose. Alberto describes it as the product of an unplanned afternoon in New York’s Chinatown. His brother—who also served as the DP—was testing a new camera, and their friend Rose happened to be available. What unfolded was spontaneous and raw. With no script and no setup, Alberto managed to capture the grittiness of NYC, the intrigue of Chinatown, and the effortless magnetism of Rose—all in a brief but powerful clip. Click here to view.
