BETH GALTON MEMORY OF ABSENCE

Beth Galton's deeply personal project Memory of Absence is being featured by aPhotoEditor (The Art of the Personal Project). For this series, Beth combined botanicals with objects and photographs that she'd found  (in order to convey a sense of memory and loss). The organic and volatile botanicals serve as a reminder of the ever-changing nature of memory and emotions—an unstable and profoundly unreliable process. The work invites the viewer to dive deep into the vast and vulnerable pool that is our past.
