THE BEAUTY OF DECAY BY BETH GALTON
Beth Galton finds beauty in unexpected places. Once it catches her eye, she captures it with her camera bestowing eternal life on her subjects. She approaches her work with an extraordinary attention to detail and an abundance of passion. For one of her ongoing personal projects, Beth visually presents what she calls "the duality of freshness and decay." About the project, Beth says:
It is the ephemeral quality of constant change in the natural world that interests me. I’m drawn to the wild nature of decaying flowers and leaves, which continue to evolve, past the freshness and familiarity of the bloom or bud, into other, unpredictable, often unfamiliar shapes and forms.
