The Monkeypox outbreak has affected gay and bisexual men most of all. It has also greatly impacted Black and Latino communities. The reasons are numberous and include the CDC's delayed response coupled with the challenges these communities face gaining access to the vaccine. ProPublica recently  interviewed CDC senoir health scientist, William L. Jeffries IV, about this ongoing issue.
