HARVEY B GANTT CENTER FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN ARTS AND CULTURE PRESENTS KENNEDI CARTER

The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts+Culture (Charlotte, NC) is currently presenting Kennedi Carter: Sight Unseen. The exhibit features a number of new works by Kennedi that 'demonstrate the breadth of Kennedi's vision and provide a glimpse into the personal worlds she photographs.'
As beautifully stated by the Center:
"Defined as "without inspection or appraisal," Carter's work exemplifies the phrase "sight unseen." Her images approach and depict moments without judgement or preconceived notions of what constitutes memorable or worthy. The exhibition draws on Carter's ability to capture the "unseen" — moments often overlooked or invisible to society."
The exhibit will be open to the public until January 15, 2024. Click here for more details.
