8 SECONDS JUNETEENTH RODEO CAPTURED BY KENNEDI CARTER FOR TECOVAS

Ivan McClellan is a Portland based photographer and storyteller. Eight years ago, he was introduced to Black cowboy culture and immediately fell in love. Inspired and on a mission to bring Black cowboys to Portland, Ivan founded the 8 Seconds Juneteenth Rodeo. Sponsored by Tecovas, the Rodeo was a tremendous success this summer. Tecovas and Ivan requested that Kennedi Carter document the Rodeo.
