THE ART OF STORYTELLING BY BRAYLEN DION

Inspired by Barry Jenkins' film If Beale Street Could Talk, Braylen Dion spent an afternoon in Harlem with Imani Shanté and CJ Hart (both professional models). Braylen sought to portray a couple in love taking in a beautiful afternoon in the city. What he created is so much more. The still and motion content that Braylen captured for this soulful personal project offer deep glimses into the lives of two people. The work is intimate and visually striking. In reaction to viewing the work, Barry Jenkins' reaction was: "WOW, WOW, WOW."
