CENTER FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC ART HONORS BETH GALTON

Each year, the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, California, hosts a prestigious member-juried competition. This year, the jury chose 45 images (out of an incredible 2200) to be exhibited. Beth Galton has won 3rd Place with her extraordinary image Back Alley Abortion. The image was orginally created as part of a feature in the New York Times on unwanted pregnancies. It is both deliberately shocking and absolutely beautiful. Beth's image along with the other winners' work will be on exhibit until
