PATRICK MOLNAR ON SHOOTING FOR THE MILITARY

To present Pat's newest work for USMC, we asked him to tell us about his experience capturing these incredible images in Okinawa, and about his love for shooting for the military in general. Here is what he had to say:

In 2022, we were asked to shoot the photography for the Marine Corps’ “Shifting Threats” recruiting campaign. We spent 2 weeks in Okinawa and shot the images over 3 days working with the infantry, various air wings and their JTAC and UAS components. Hot as hell and one of the coolest trips I’ve ever done. Incredible support from the USMC, our US and local production team and agency (who are the damn coolest people in the world). Working with the military is loud, fast, muddy, dusty, very physical, hot, cold and one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I hope to keep doing it until my legs give out…….then I’m gonna get one of those lil walmart scooters with tank treads & night vision.
