KENNEDI CARTER HELPS NIKE & WIEDEN+KENNEDY PAY TRIBUTE TO SERENA WILLIAMS

In collaboration with the creative minds at Wieden+Kennedy, Nike recently produced a stunning video that pays tribute to the extraordinary life and career of Serena Williams. The video touches on her upbringing, dedication to her sport, and her incredible ability to inspire perserverance and passion. As part of the video, Nike hoped to include images of young girls and women in Compton, CA (where Serena grew up). The images were taken in Serena's old neighborhood and on the tennis court where she mastered her craft. Kennedi was asked to capture these very important photos that would help complete Nike's beautiful homage. Click here to watch the video.
