In December of 2009, Kendrick Brinson went to Sun City, Arizona. Sun City is an age-restricted retirement community of 40,000. Kendrick wasn't sneaking in to sample the buffet. She went there to photograph the extraordinary people that call Sun City home. Over the last 10+ years, Kendrick has returned to Sun City a few times - not only to nurture the amazing relationships that she has established with some of the residents, but also to capture what is unquestionably some of her best work.
