VIRGIL ABLOH BY KENNEDI CARTER

We were extremely saddened and shocked by the news of Virgil Abloh's passing. Virgil was a brilliant and inspiring human being - as well as an amazing creative. Kennedi had the great fortune of meeting and working with Virgil this year. She photographed a series of images for his Off-White label which included brave and beautiful African American women wearing shirts that read I Support Black Women. Kennedi also captured this striking portrait of Virgil wearing the same shirt. Kennedi and Virgil had planned to collaborate in the future. It's hard to believe that we won't have the opportunity to experience those collaborations. 
We do know that Kennedi will forever be inspired by Virgil.
We all will.
