KENNEDI CARTER PART OF SMITHSONIAN SYMPOSIUM

Fashion, Culture, Futures: African American Ingenuity, Activism, and Storytelling is a two-part symposium co-organized by Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. Kennedi, along with a bevy of artists, innovators and image makers, has been invited to speak. The symposium will focus on how African Americans are leading innovation and change within the contemporary fashion industry. This incredible two-part event should not be missed.
