BBC REEL FEATURES KENNEDI CARTER

In this incredible episode, BBC Reel features Kennedi Carter and work from her bold, beautiful personal project Flex. The project (which seems to have inspired our current addiction Bridgerton) reimagines the English Renaissance in a series of portraits that star African Americans as the powerful and wealthy protagonists. As with most of Kennedi's personal work, Flex uses visual impact to challenge sterotypes and awaken the viewer to new perceptions about race and society.
